Ashurst promotes new partner to strengthen Paris corporate team
Ashurst, a leading global law firm, recently announced the promotion of Charles-Douglas Fuz to the position of partner in its Paris corporate team. Effective from the 1st of May, Charles-Douglas, who is French and American and holds practicing licenses in both Paris and New York, brings a wealth of experience to the firm. His expertise lies in advising infrastructure and private equity funds, as well as strategic corporates on various transactions, including M&A, private equity, and joint-ventures, especially within the energy and infrastructure sectors.
Since he joined Ashurst back in 2020, Charles-Douglas has cultivated strong relationships with key clients of the firm and has significantly contributed to enhancing Ashurst’s Infra M&A sector in Europe. He works closely with the Global Loans, Investment Funds, Projects, and Energy Transition teams and actively participates in the growth of the firm’s strategic markets, which include France, Italy, Germany, and the United States.
