Fans expressed their disappointment on social media, with one fan on Reddit calling the show “very disappointing” and questioning the value of the festival. Some fans even threatened to pursue a class-action lawsuit against the festival’s promoters for not delivering on the promise of “unique sets.” Stas Rusek, a Georgia-based lawyer and Tool fan, stated that the band’s performance was a “bait and switch” for attendees who expected a different experience.

Despite the backlash, some fans still enjoyed the festival experience and would attend again. One fan mentioned feeling let down by the setlist but still had a good time at the event. The festival packages included accommodations at the resorts, all-inclusive food and drinks, music events, and transportation to and from the airport.
